As promised, Peugeot has unveiled an all-electric version of the 308, which was previously only available with petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrains. The compact car is built on the same EMP2 platform as the ICE variant, so it has largely kept the design inside and out. The Peugeot E-308 uses a new generation battery with a capacity of 51 kWh. It operates at a voltage of 400 V and also has a new chemical composition: 80% nickel, 10% manganese and 10% cobalt. A full charge is enough for more than 400 km on the WLTP cycle. The maximum charging power is 100 kW, which can be charged from 20% to 80% in less than 25 minutes.

Front and bottom

The front and bottom of Peugeot E-308 have been slightly modified to improve aerodynamics, and new low-friction tires have been installed for the same purpose. Peugeot engineers have also added a Brake driving mode that enhances deceleration to enhance energy recovery when the driver releases the accelerator pedal. Peugeot E-308 Launch Date

Peugeot E-308 will go on sale in the middle of next year in Allure and GT trims. Buyers will be offered two versions of the electric car: hatchback and station wagon. Directly on the official website of the company, you can pre-order or exchange your old car for a new one. Pricing will be announced closer to launch.
